Apple-Cranberry Casserole

I sprinkle the fruit lightly with cinnamon. For apple crisp only—I use 1 cup sugar to 6 cups apples.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cranberries
  • 3 cups sliced peeled apples
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Topping

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened

Instructions

Combine fruit, sugar, and lemon juice in a 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Combine brown sugar, oats, and flour. Cut in butter. Spoon mixture over fruit. Bake at 325° for 1 hour. Serve warm and top with ice cream or whipped topping.
