Apricot Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup apricots, soaked in warm water for 30 min, cut up
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter or shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped

Instructions

Combine ingredients. Place in a loaf pan (or several small pans).

Bake for 55-60 minutes at 350°.

This is really good toasted!
