I use 2 cans of tuna. I've made this for company and they usually think it's a chicken casserole!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons green pepper, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon tuna in water, drained
  • 1 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 3 oz. can chow mein noodles (1 1/2 cups), Save 1/3 c. for topping
  • 3/4 cup cashews

Instructions

Heat oven to 350°. Saute celery, onion, and green pepper in butter. Mix in the rest of the ingredients; pour into buttered 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with 1/3 cup show mein noodles. Bake for 30 minutes.
