Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 pound butter, softened
  • 8 eggs, 1 at a time
  • 4 1/2 cups flour, (4 1/2 - 5 1/2 cups)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • (add 1 to flour)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla, (Use 4)

Instructions

Cream together the sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time. Add remaining ingredients. Refrigerate (I make them the night before). Bake on brazie iron.
