Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Olive or Vegetable oil
- 3 large onions, for 3 cups chopped
- 2 green peppers, chopped
- 1 tablespoon mince garlic
- 3 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Heat the oil on medium in an extra-deep, 12-inch nonstick skillet. Peel and coarsely chop the onions, adding them to the skillet as you chop. Seed and coarsely chop the green peppers, adding them to the skillet as you chop. Add the garlic, and raise the heat to high.

Crumble the beef into the skillet and cook, stirring constantly until no longer pink, about 6 or 7 minutes. Remove the skillet from the heat, and stir in the Worcestershire sauce. Drain into a colander.
Cool slightly and divide into three 1 1/2 cup portions (approximately).
Store the portions for future use in freezer weight, zip-lock plastic bags and freeze until ready to use. Makes about 11 cups.
