Kentucky Strawberry Pie

Ingredients

• 2 cups fresh strawberries
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 3 tablespoons cornstarch
• 1 cup water
• 1/2 package strawberry Jello
• 1 pie shell, baked

Instructions

Mix berries and 1/2 cup sugar together and let stand.

Combine the other 1/2 cup sugar, cornstarch, and water in a saucepan and cook until thick and clear. Remove from heat and add 1/2 package (3 1/2 tablespoons) strawberry Jello. Add the berries to the hot mixture and pour into a baked pie shell. Serve with sweetened whipped cream.

Can use for raspberries and peaches, also!
