Orange Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup shortening, (half butter)
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup sour cream, zested & juiced
• 1 medium oranges, zested & juiced
• 4 cups flour
• 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Combine ingredients. Chill dough. Drop from teaspoon. Bake at 425° for 8-10 minutes. Frost: 3-4 Tablespoons

Grated rind of 1 orange

Enough orange juice to moisten as desired

The easiest way to frost these is to dip the tops into the frosting.
